Packing up....

Well, it's about time for me to be hitting the old dusty trail. The Summer's over, and it's time to move forward to college, Chapter 3. It's been a good Summer, I made some money, I got a chance to see Soulive, I caught up with a few UHa people for a day, I along with my mother renovated the living room, and I got to hear some good music from two local bands and befriended them (I'll go into that more in the next post). Overall, this Summer was pretty awesome. And now to set my sights back to school....

Holy $#!+....

My mother and I painted the living room...all...fucking...day today. We had to paint the walls with primer, then slap the paint on, and in between, move around heavy ass furniture so we could paint. We painted from 9am to about less than an hour ago. I'm so fucking tired right now, I'm suprised I can even spell at this point. But the living room looks great. It's kinda creepy how dark the room looks now with the new paint. Pictures up soon. Till then, to bed I am going....

The Moon....

[Listening to: Coldplay - God Put A Smile Upon Your Face from the album "A Rush Of Blood To The Head"]

The moon and its majesty kicks your ass with the power of 10,000 kicks in the groin. That is all.

On this page, you see a little girl giggling at a hippopotamus, I wonder why....

[Listening to: Incubus - Magic Medicine from the album "S.C.I.E.N.C.E."]

Well, tomorrow is my last day of work. Actually, SYEP decided to extend the program for another week, but I really don't feel like working there another week. My body has basically prepared itself to stop work mode, and I doubt I'll be in any frame of mind to work next week, so I'm just not going to go. I get paid tomorrow, and I've made a week's worth of money for the final paycheck that comes in September, so i'm basically going to count my losses and move on.

The magic medicine worked! *chimes*

Pictures of my precious....

Pictures of me posing with it to come as soon as I find a good pose....

Do you know what's better than buying a new guitar? Buying a new guitar and finding out that there's going to be a sale going on at Sam Ash this weekend where you can take $75 off anything over $300, including my guitar that I bought last week! All I have to do is bring in the receipt and they'll take $75 off the price. I love Sam Ash! That will give me enough money to buy a hardshell case of mah baybeh! w007z0rz!

My mother's birthday was a smashing success yesterday. My grandmother and I treated her to dinner at the Olive Garden. Our waiter was lousy but the food was excellent. After dinner we went to the movies and saw Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. That just might join my list of favorite movies. My mom, grandma and I probably enjoyed it more than the kids that watched it did!

That's it. The end, for now....

I'm Feeling Fat...And Sassy....

[Listening to: QB3 - Mind's Eye from the album "The Autumn Sessions EP"]

Sorry about that, I still have Rejected on my brain. I really need to buy that DVD. Well, here I am again for another long overdue update. I won't make it long because people have lives to lead and the last thing they need is a long boring post about me. Lets see....

Two weekends ago, my mother, my dog and I took a trip to Maryland to visit a cousin of mine. We stayed at his house for the weekend. We talked, we ate, we went to see a concert that included a scantily clad Toni Braxton (I can't figure out how she is still hotttt after having four kids), overall, fun was had. The only downside to that trip was that I missed a huge sale at Sam Ash where I could have got the guitar I've been drolling over for 20% off. *tear*

I have only one more week of work left. I can't believe that it's almost over. It's been hella fun though. I've worked hard, lost some weight, and gained the respect of all the higher-ups. And no brown-nosing was used in the process! Hooray for working hard while keeping my dignity! W007z!!

Last Saturday my mother took me driving. I drove around a large parking lot for about an hour to get a feel for driving. My learner's permit was feeling very unused as of late.

If you've never heard of the band QB3, do yourself a favor and check them out. You'll be glad you did. Maybe. I don't know. I don't know your taste in music.

After work tomorrow I'm going to try and buy my guitar, even if I don't get a discount (but you know I'm going to try with all my power to see if I can get one!), and I'm going to also see if I can buy my mothera present for her birthday, which is on Monday.

Well, that's about it, time to watch Attack of the Show....
