[Listening to: Alan Evans - Low Down Low from the album "Let It Ride..."]
I last posted in my blog. Since then I've been depressed, sick, then more depressed. I'm not sure if anyone actually noticed that I was feeling that way, or any sort of way, with the exception of CJ. I started running out of motivation to do much of anything. It was pretty bad. I think it was the fact that the dreaded "What am I gonna do with my life after I graduate" question came up in my head. It began to bother me because I have two possible routes to go, and I'm not sure where I can go with either of them. And it bothered the crap out of me wondering what I'm doing with my life. It all came to a head with me downing half a bottle of Captain Morgan and having a bad night that I don't remember. That was Friday. Saturday turned things around quite a bit. It was one of the first nice days anyone had seen in a long time, and CJ and I knew we couldn't waste it away, so we dragged Christian with us and went exploring through Avon, one town over from us. Driving down just one main road we encountered about 4 or 5 different malls, and they were all really nice. We had reached the end of the road, so we turned back, and on the way back I notice a sign that says "Nature Center." I show CJ, and after getting an OK from Christian we decided to check out this so called nature center. I'm very glad we did. The nature center had a bunch of hiking trails, and we decided to forge ahead and see where it took us. I'm not sure if it was the fresh air, the change of scenery, or the fact that it was the first speck of excercise I've had this year, but the hike cleared my head of a lot of things. I was feeling better about myself and just feeling good overall, a feeling I hadn't felt in a while. So things are looking on the up and up. i still can't wait for Spring Break though. Just a few more days.
In other news, I bought some music software on eBay, and I'm hoping it comes this week before I go on break. It's a bundle of four music editing/composition programs: Propellerhead Reason 3.0, Sonic Foundry Acid Pro 4.0, and Sony's Sound Forge 8, and CD Architect 5. I'm really psyched about it, Reason is very popular and very powerful. It's a lot like FL Studio (aka Fruity Loops), but more powerful and more gangster. I cleared out and backed up a whole bunch of my files so that both my computers will have enough room to accomodate all the awesomeness. I'm patiently awaiting it's arrival.
In I'm going to Hell news, I read this news article and started laughing. I don't feel as bad because CJ read it and he started laughing too. How many of you are going to Hell with me?
