Three cheers to my finished main page...
[Listening to: Jason Truby - Immersed from the album "String Theory"]
After days and days of toiling with the friggin CSS script, the main page for my site is done. Not too terrible for a first time job. The only thing is that since the page is using a CSS script, Internet Explorer, being the $2 whore that it is, won't display it properly. 100% CSS support my ass. Mozilla Firefox displays it just fine. I may just build an IE-friendly main page using cells. They're pretty cool, but not CSS cool. At any rate, I have the space to get it done, and it'll be done eventually.
I tried to start a photo gallery, but it's not letting me upload any pictures. What good is an empty photo gallery?! Hopefully I can get that resolved soon.
The women in my family are awesome. I spent time with both of my grandmothers yesterday annd today. It was just a lot of fun being around them and talking to them. My grandmother on my dad's side and I hung out and watched the Do it Yourself network and ate. MY grandmother on my mom's side and I went to downtown Brooklyn and browsed around, and then ate. I hung out with my mother tonight. We sat around and talked, I played a few songs for her on my guitar, overall, fun was had. This may not sound like much, but that moment meant a lot to me because I've never really opened up to my mother or felt comfortable enough to play a song for her. It felt really good to just hang out and converse like that.
Well enough of that, bedtime now. G'nite, and screw Internet Explorer.
